This policy explains what personal data Layout Mechanics collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you hold over it.

Information you provide. Name, email address, company or brand name, target launch date, selected service and the contents of the project brief you submit through our contact form or by email.
Client engagement data. Billing details, contract signatories, project files, brand assets and correspondence created during an engagement.
Technical data. IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and pages viewed, collected by our hosting provider in server logs for security and reliability purposes.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16.
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and scope documents, deliver contracted design work, issue invoices and collect payment, maintain business and tax records, and secure our website and systems.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Where the data protection law of [Jurisdiction] requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract for delivering engaged work; legitimate interests for responding to enquiries and securing our systems; legal obligation for accounting and tax records; and consent where we ask for it separately, which you may withdraw at any time.
